Hi everyone! I’m Hayley. I handle the marketing for H&M as well as act as the event coordinator. This means I work with a lot of brides on planning their big day and as of May 2nd, I now have my own wedding to plan! Luckily, I’m very well covered on the catering side 😉 but as for the rest? HELP ME.
A little background: Spencer and I were high school sweethearts, went our separate ways for college and have been back together for about a year and a half now. We’ve known each other since we were twelve and have always had such a strong friendship and bond. I can’t wait to spend forever with him! He proposed on my birthday weekend in a hot air balloon. Yes, I know, I’ve got a keeper! Here are some photos from one of the happiest days of my life so far.
Not 10 minutes after our balloon touched the ground we were asked the big question – “So when’s the wedding?” Yikes! The butterflies from the proposal haven’t even subsided yet and I’m already expected to have my wedding planned? Give me a break! Luckily, we already have an AMAZING caterer and my parent’s happen to have a gorgeous backyard so we figured we could plan the rest pretty quickly. We decided on September 17th, 2016 and got to work. You can follow our wedding planning here as we choose vendors, work out details and plan the perfect day with all of our family and friends.
P.S. Any tips or advice you wish you were given when planning your wedding? Please, oh please, share with me!
P.P.S. If anyone in the Treasure Valley area wants to do a hot air balloon ride I highly recommend Boise Hot Air Company LLC. It was a wonderful experience and Spencer said they were very helpful when he was planning the proposal. Definitely an experience I won’t soon forget!
